FASHIONCLASH calls on talent to develop a shoe concept where creativity and sustainability are coming together. The Shoe Design Challenge is a unique collaboration between FASHIONCLASH and Invito. By providing a platform, FASHIONCLASH and Invito contribute to the development of new (fashion) talent.

Invito is as spot on fashion formula always engaged with creativity and quirky design. Hereby, quality, a unique design and sustainable production are central factors. FASHIONCLASH continuously initiates projects for international fashion talent. Currently ‘Museum aan het Vrijthof’ presents the sensational exhibition “ FASHIONCLASH @ Museum aan het Vrijthof” in collaboration with Fashionclash.

FASHIONCLASH SHOE DESIGN CHALLENGE powered by Invito
From June 6 to July 5, everyone can participate in the ‘Shoe Design Challenge powered by Invito. Submissions to the Shoe Design Challenge will be judged on the product, the vision and sustainability. In addition, they focus will lay on ideas how to introduce and communicate the concept in the media. On July 11, ten designs will be chosen out of all the submissions, which will be then further developed under professional supervision by, among other, Invito. There from, three winners will be chosen in early September. The publicity concerning the Shoe Design Challenge powered by Invito contributes to the interest in the talent by professional colleagues and the general audience. Invito will take one or more winning designs into production.

Open call for submissions 

We would like to invite you to participate in our 1st edition of the ‘FASHIONCLASH Shoe Design Challenge powered by Invito’. The intention is to challenge (young) talent to develop a shoe concept. FASHIONCLASH and Invito would like to contribute to the development of (fashion) talent. The designer should take into account current trends and developments in the world when designing the shoe concept. Sustainability is of course not to be missed.
Out of all submissions to the FASHIONCLASH Shoe Design Challenge powered by Invito, 10 designs will be chosen by professional supervision of Invito which will be further developed together with the talent. Finally, three designs will be selected and will be made production-ready. In other words, this is the chance to let your shoe design become reality.
