Meeree Lee is a second-generation jeweler who creates under the name 2mm. She aims to embrace a more liberated and intuitive artistic process, focusing on mentally refreshing practices, engaging in "emptying the mind" work. Her creations are often playful, warm-hearted, sometimes even silly and aim to enjoy the pure act of making.‘

2mm_unempty’ is a 3D drawing dialogue that began in 2014, blending mind-emptying work with collaborative creation. Growing steadily, especially during the pandemic, this project has produced over 1,000 earrings, with around 300 still in the possession of Meeree Lee. Central to the project, is a simple game where participants create their own shapes and patterns in 3D. This process is not only artistic, but also includes a form of spirituality and is a way of communicating on an unconscious level with other people and objects, ordering collective creativity into calming, meditative expressions.
