‘Shadow Labyrinth 2.0’ is a collection based on the exploration of the matriarchy and female empowerment. It is inspired by the Night Elves from World of Warcraft, an online role-playing game, and her own experiences on growing up in a traditional Chinese society. The collection challenges patriarchal norms and redefines feminine power, drawn from the strength and resilience of the women Alyne was raised by. The intricate designs and craftmanship of each piece tell a story of overcoming adversity and questioning traditional gender roles. By integrating performance art, Alyne hopes to create an immersive fashion experience that inspires thought and conversation about gender equality and social structures.
