Heiligdomsvaart 2025

FASHIONCLASH Pop-up Atelier

Who are we?

A. FASHIONCLASH Foundation (FC) organizes the Pop-up Atelier.
B. Participant is the person who takes part in one or more workshops during the Pop-up Atelier.

What do we mean by...?

  • Workshop: A workshop in the Pop-up Atelier in Maastricht that takes place from Tuesday 22 April until Saturday 7 June 2025, in Centre Céramique in Maastricht.

  • Participant: You! (Or your child, if you are reading these conditions as a parent/guardian.)

  • Work: The outfit, the object, or the flag that you make during the Workshop.

  • HDV25: Heiligdomsvaart 2025, a cultural event on Sunday 15 June and Sunday 22 June 2025 in Maastricht.

  • FCF: FASHIONCLASH Festival 2025, an event from November 14-16, 2025, in Maastricht.

1. When and how can you participate?

1.1 The Pop-up Atelier takes place in Centre Céramique, Maastricht on various days between 22 April and 7 June 2025. The exact dates can be found on the FC website.

1.2 Participation is free!

1.3 You don't necessarily need to register in advance for a Workshop via the FC website, but we recommend doing so as there are a limited number of places per Workshop.

1.4 If you decide to participate on-site, we will ask you to fill in your name and other contact details via the online registration form on the FC website.

1.5 Children under 12 years old may only participate in a workshop under the supervision of a parent/guardian.

1.6 Each workshop is led by 2 workshop hosts with a background in fashion and textiles.

1.7 Do you also want to participate in the Processions of HDV25? Then you must register separately for this via the FC website.

2. What happens to the work that you make?

2.1 FC provides the setup, presentation, and all materials for the Workshop.

2.2 The Work that you as a Participant make during the Workshop is part of a collective Work. It is important that you follow the guidelines for creating this collective Work while participating in the Workshop.

2.3 The Work remains in the possession of FC and at the location of the Workshop until the end of HDV25.

2.4 If you also decide to participate in one or more ‘Ommegangen’ (Processions) of HDV25, you may keep the outfit or object that you made during the Workshop after HDV25 ends. Flags remain in the possession of FC.

2.5 FC decides if, how, and where your Work will be presented, and by whom it will be worn, if you do not participate in HDV25 yourself, so that everything fits well within the overall presentation during HDV25. This also depends on the total amount of Work that will be created by other participants during the Workshop.

2.6 A selection of the Work made during the Workshop will also be presented during FCF. FC decides if, how, and where your Work will be presented, so that everything fits well within the overall presentation during FCF.

2.7 If your Work is part of the selection for FCF, and you have participated as a participant in HDV25, then you may collect the work after FCF ends and it will remain in the possession of FC until then.

2.8 Did you participate as a participant in a Workshop and in HDV25 and do not want to keep the Work? Then FC and its partners will ensure that it is reused in a responsible manner.
