Huize You is an independent Chinese fashion designer and the face of STUDIO ERASER YOU. She is currently based in Eupen (Belgium) after graduating of Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2021 and gaining work experience in Paris. Her work spans various mediums and challenges human behavior and social relations. By combining playful details with pessimistic reflections, she believes fashion should provoke thought and exploring the essence of the universe.

‘I only want you to love me (Ich will doch nur, daß ihr mich liebt)’ delves into family relationships. Family is given, it’s not a choice and parental relationships can be complex. “We strive to meet their expectations, but no matter how hard we try, we can never fully align with their ideals. (..) The presents we pack into different boxes to please our families are also the boxes that trap us, preventing us from growing into our true selves.”
