  • Paula Dischinger focusses on concept developing and research of her surroundings and developing designs around the human body. ‘HERD’ can be described as a walking performance, in which no-one ever walks alone. The emphasis is on actively contributing to meeting each other, to come and move along with the flow. It's possible to follow, but there is always a choice and freedom to rest in the herd, always hope to find a rhythm within that herd.

  • Yorvique Macaay, also known as ‘Dictator of Art’, is a multidisciplinary artist from Willemstad, Curaçao. His multicultural upbringing, where various languages, values, and traditions were central, enriches his work. For the past three years, Yorvique has been delving into the world of fashion, focusing on handwork and researching the relationship people have with clothing. ‘MUSES’ is a fashion performance and collection that redefines the essence of fashion. It explores how clothing goes beyond functionality, allowing us to embrace our unique alter egos and personal fantasies.

  • The Body Collective is an artist initiative by artists/designers Chequita Nahar, Anke Huyben and Katja Prins. They collaborate on initiating, organizing and producing exhibitions and other events such as lectures, talks, film screenings amongst others and aspire to be a leading platform for dialogue and encounter between design and the visual arts. The Body Project is an ongoing dialogue between different makers, their work and its focus on the body. They aim to re-contextualize the context of jewelry by examining the relationship with the body as a framework and questioning the relationship between the body and the object.

    ULKAAN is a collaboration between Kaan Hiçyilmaz and Ulkuhan Akgul. With a focus on disrupting conventional identity classifications, their collaboration ‘cid’, combines fashion and digital technology to explore the semiotics of the human body beyond binary structures.

Kaan’swork emerges from the reciprocation between the human body (self) and the built environment, in which he investigates elements of control directed to affect one’s physical and mental conditioning. As a multidisciplinary designer, Ulkuhan combines fashion and digital media to explore how identity, politics, and social issues intersect. With a focus on disrupting conventional identity classifications, the collaboration which results in their work called ‘cid’, combines fashion and digital technology to explore the semiotics of the human body beyond binary structures.
